before the year ends

Just realized in less than two weeks it'll be November already. The year went by so fast! Crazy, fun year 2010 has been :) Before the year ends, though...I plan on doing a few things...

- Go back to Sagada and finish the entire Cave Connection. If you recall from my Sagada entry, I wasn't able to finish the entire cave because I sprained my ankle. I have unfinished business in Sagada, haha!

- Do the 7 Lakes Tour in San Pablo, Laguna. Been planning to do that for months already but haven't found the time to go since work has been taking up most of my time (even on weekends, yeesh)

- Go on a one-of-a-kind tour of Intramuros (watch out for my entry on that ;p)

- Try all the restaurants along Maginhawa Street. Who wants to join me? haha

- Get inked again ;p

I want to do more things but my brain's starting to slow down a bit as I haven't fully recovered from my Bacolod trip yet. Just got back last night and still am bushed. Will add more to this list of things to-do before 2010 ends.

re-energized

Hi everyone, am back from Bacolod :) Busy two weeks for me. Last week, I was at Cebu for work. Thank God I had a couple of hours to spare on my last day to tour the city a bit. Just got a cab and asked the driver to take me around. Took a few photos, then off I went to the airport and worked a bit from there. When I got back to Manila, my high school BFF Val and I had our nails done in time for our Bacolod trip the next day. Our flight was so early, 4:15 a.m! We didn't sleep anymore which was why we were so exhausted when we arrived at Bacolod. Will be devoting an entire post about Cebu and another one for Bacolod, maybe tonight or tomorrow :)

Sneak preview of Cebu...

...and of Bacolod/Negros Occidental

random.

I love notebooks!
As much as I can't live without my phones, sometimes I wish I could just completely ignore them and not reply to every SMS sent and calls

Reading's such a joy :)

Quirky accessories are cool

I find the design on my bed's headboard really pretty

...and now, for my super late outfit post!

dress: thrifted
belt: I forgot where I got it haha

extremely exhausted

Am currently in Cebu for work and I'm super tired. Haven't had decent sleep for the past 2 weeks. This week, got home before 6 a.m yesterday (been at the office since 8:30 a.m Monday!!). When I got home, slept for a bit but wasn't able to sleep well because I had a fever. Still went to work and got home last night around 10:30. Got a bit of sleep and almost missed my flight to Cebu, haha! I'm hoping tomorrow I'll have some time for myself after my meeting the entire afternoon. EDEN!!! We must meet up!! I'm leaving for Manila on Friday already but I'll be off to Bacolod for the Maskara Festival early Saturday morning. No rest for me :( I'm just looking forward to my Bacolod trip because I'll be with my high school bestfriend :) YAY! Will definitely post pics about that trip ;)

Missed reading blogs, like seriously. Haven't had the time to do so :( How have y'all been?

I'm still alive

Hallooo everyone! Sorry if I've neglected my blog this week. Work has been extremely toxic which is why I wasn't able to check my blog. I wasn't even able to answer personal emails, facebook messages, and even SMS! Such is the life of a market researcher. Oh well, I'm pretty excited about one project of mine because I'll be leaving for Cebu on the 13th! :) Will be there until Oct 15 then I'm off to Bacolod on the 16th until the 19th. Busy bee busy bee.

I'll post something longer later as I have to go the office, ON A SATURDAY, just to get a few of my stuff that I forgot ;) Not really gonna go back and work. That'd be sad. Well, it's sad enough I spent my Friday night at the office worried that the child ghost might make his presence felt. Oh yeah, we believe that there's a ghost in our office and he sometimes lets you know he's there by giggling, typing on the keyboard, or ruffling with paper. Good thing I wasn't alone last night or else I wouldn't have survived. Funny, my officemate who was with me last night is a guy but he gets scared easily. Just weird. So I had no one to protect me from teh ghost. How do you protect yourself from a ghost anyway? Stupid question. Sorry, my brain isn't functioning that well yet and it's still rebooting from all the work I've been doing the past week and a half.

project number one

Can't divulge anything for now, but I promise I will explain it soon (hopefully this week)...

lovely vintage wrapping paper we found in Binondo (Chinatown here in Manila)...

so pretty! we got these for a buck a sheet..we found out why! the paper's so old they easily tear

...but we couldn't bear parting with these! we just HAD to buy all the stock of these two designs. total cost? 178 pesos! that's roughly almost US$ 4 ;)

a week of eating

Since last weekend, I've been eating more than usual. For some weird reason, my appetite has NOT been cooperating because I'm supposed to be on a diet for my trip to Bacolod on October 16th. How the heck am I going to wear my swimwear if I'll be bulging all over?! The eating madness MUST stop. Anyway, I wouldn't be honest if I said I didn't enjoy every bite I had this past week haha! Lemme show you the source(s) of my "bloatedness"

The BEST fries ever...from McDonald's

Blue Cheese Pasta from Flaming Wings, Katipunan Ave

Original Recipe 5 Wings with Aioli dip (5 wings=10 wings) from Flaming Wings, Katipunan Ave

Spicy Pulled Pork from Flaming Wings, Katipunan Ave

Fresh Rolls from Zao Vietnamese Bistro, Eastwood Mall

Seafood Rice from Zao Vietnamese Bistro, Eastwood Mall

Barbecue Spareribs from Zao Vietnamese Bistro

Pineapple something something rice (haha, I forgot what it's called exactly), Hawaiian Bar-B-Que in Tagaytay
Medium slab of Hawaiian Baby Back Ribs from Hawaiian Bar-B-Que in Tagaytay
Again, I forgot what this is called but it's basically a banana split placed inside half of a frozen coconut. Yum!! Also from Hawaiian Bar-B-Que in Tagaytay

My ULTIMATE comfort food--Classic Jolly Hotdog from Jollibee. I know it doesn't look as appetizing as the previous food pictures but I'm telling you every bite of this is heaven...for me, that is. Haha! And this is obviously not the healthiest thing you should snack on but it's just sooooooo good! And it makes any bad day happy :)

What have you been munching on this past week?
