cannot contain my excitement

...I'm getting espadrilles later!!! My mom bought a pair yesterday and she was thinking of getting me one as well but she wasn't sure what kind I liked. So we're going back to Podium after work today so I can get my own pair. Yay! I like it when my mom's being generous when it comes to shopping. I'm already a part of the labor force, but my mother seems to enjoy buying stuff for me and my brother from time to time. Although I'd prefer not spending my hard-earned moolah, I like the feeling of being able to buy things for myself. It gives a sense of fulfillment, I guess. After I started working, I learned to appreciate even more how hard my parents worked their butts off so that our family would be able to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle. I ♥ my parents.
