Christmas in Ortigas!

Since I'm really feeling the Christmas vibe this year, I decided to take pictures of Ortigas (one of the business districts here in the Philippines) a couple of nights ago. My officemate and I, after work, walked around Ortigas and took a few pictures. With the cold night air, wow. We felt like we weren't in Manila...until a car almost run us over as if the driver had LBM or something. Hahaha!

"you're the first person I know who wears black stockings"

That's what my officemate told me. Hahaha! All I could say to her was, "I'm glad to be the first."

lovely lovely dresses

Christmas is near and I've been on the lookout for dresses that I want to wear on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Am bored at the office so I'm spending the afternoon fiddling with polyvore. Hahahaha! My boss isn't around, I'm done with what I need to do. Did this set on Christmas dresses.

I already have my New Year's Eve dress :) I bought it at a thrift shop in Tagaytay last week. To usher in the new year, I'm gonna wear GOLD! :) It's not too shiny and shimmery. Will take a picture of me wearing it on New Year's Eve and post it here :)

finally!

I'm back! I haven't been able to blog here in quite a while. Been too busy with work, and the only site I've been checking other than justjared is my multiply. Hence, most of my blogging was done there.

Glad that I'm done buying presents for my family. No money left for me. Boohoo, oh well. Actually, I haven't received my salary for this month yet. I'll be getting it on the 15th. Ooooooh...The money I spent was just my 4th month pay (since I'm not yet a regular employee and I've only been working for 4 months...monthly salary/12 months x 4). Okay, since I know my family doesn't know I have a blog I can post what I bought for them. I bought my dad a nice pair of black pants since he needs a good pair of pants (according to my mom). I got my mom a pair of brown wedges because she doesn't have a single pair of brown sandals...they're all black. I got one of my brothers a really cool polo shirt. He's sort of into long-sleeved, checkered polos lately. I got my little brother a cool educational toy. Twas a bit expensive. Spent more than a thousand bucks on his gift. Yes, I do tend to spoil the youngest. I got my grandfather a nice short-sleeved polo, and I got my grandmother a sleeveless blouse (she's into sleeveless tops). Pretty practical gifts (except for my little brother's). AND I'm going to give my parents and brother Starbucks planners. I'm so sick of coffee already but I've been trying to fill up 4 cards with stickers for those damn planners. It's been a little over a month since the promo started, and I already have 3 out of the 4 planners (of course I got one for myself). People have been telling me the planner for next year isn't as nice as the this year's, but I don't really mind.

The Angono trip my friends and I have been planning has been postponed twice already. We'll go on that trip maybe this January or February...after we've replenished our wallets. We've settled for Tagaytay this Saturday instead of having our usual monthly dinner. I've been going to Tagaytay a lot these past two weeks. Twice last week, then the trip this Saturday. Oooooh...played hookie last week. Used the hours from my earned leaves and didn't go to work last Wednesday. Spontaneous road trip to the haven just an hour and a half away from Manila with poeta fit non nascitur. Twas fun! I enjoyed Tagaytay so much I went back last Friday with our friend Raiza. I picked her up after work, then off we went on our adventure at 7 p.m.

I'm feeling the Christmas vibe this year :)

15 days to go!!!!
